Also known as the Swiss cheese plant this tropical flowering plant is native to southern Mexico. They make gorgeous indoor plants with their bold statement leaves, but they can also grow very large in jungles, being climbers.
The holes in their leaves allow them to spread out further without using energy to grow the extra leaf areas! It also allows tropical downpours to pass through and not damage the plant. Clever huh?
A block this size takes approximately 30-40 hours to draw and carve, and then another 3 hours or so to print the edition by hand - no press involved! :)

Works are available to be posted or collected via local pick up on the Gold Coast. All artworks are carefully wrapped and mailed in a sturdy postal tube, with tracking. Please message for postage rates outside of Australia.
